Kids, Dogs, and Ticks: 4th of July and Shelby's Birthday

About our family.

We live in a little house in the woods on 10 acres. We love our home, our woods, and all the wildlife that comes with it. My husband and I have been married for 17 years. We have three wonderful children. Shelby is 17, Jake is 14, and Jadon is 3. They keep us busy, give us gray hair, and make us laugh.

The dogs are two crazy Australian Cattle Dogs named Dakota and Diesel, who can play fetch with a tennis ball or frisbee for hours. Their hobbies are chewing on Kongs, stalking and catching squirrels, and scaring off Fed. Ex, UPS, and Mail Delivery People.

We try our best to keep the ticks out of our lives but when you live in the woods they are just part of the equation. We are always busy doing something around here from gardening, to cooking, to crafting. We enjoy learning how to do things for ourselves whether it be pickles, bread, or beer (my husband's hobby). Follow along with us as we enjoy this ride called life!
