Howdy, Cowboy!

Jadon was a cowboy for Halloween.  I think his outfit turned out perfect.  The bollo tie and the belt buckle really make the outfit.  They are also very, very special.  Jadon's Great Grandpa Carol made both of those for Matt when he was little.  I think it is pretty cool that Jadon gets to wear them now.  Carol and Bea would have really gotten a kick out of that!
I think that Jadon was a little confused at first.  Why were we knocking on strangers doors?  It did not take long for Jadon to figure out that he got candy every time someone answered the door.  It helped that big brother, Jake, was showing him the ropes. He never said trick or treat but he was ready to take any candy that was offered.  It ended up being great therapy for Righty too.  Every time that Jadon had to take candy he would switch his pumpkin over to Righty so he could take the candy with Lefty.  He did a great job considering the pumpkin started getting a little heavy after awhile.

Jadon lasted about an hour and then he was getting a little grumpy.  After we were done making the rounds around town we went to visiting some other family that wanted to see Jadon all dressed up in his cowboy gear.  I think Jadon had a pretty good Halloween!
