Let's Bake

Well....I started this post last night with the intention of finishing it but I was having issues with the new Blogger photo uploader so I saved what I had and went to bed.  So let's try this again....

Yesterday was Jadon's therapy day so he had to get up bright and early.  It was Daddy's turn to take him to therapy.  We took the finger painting that Jadon made earlier in the week to give to Ms. Carri.  We won't see her for a least a month after today.  The occupational therapist has requested that Jadon only have OT for a month so that she can figure out what works and what does not with just one thing going on at a time.  We will miss her.  We are hoping we can get our calendars together and find a time gather our families together for a meal.  We would really like that alot.
Ms. Carri and Jadon

We waited until Jadon got home to start tot school.  I did not want him to miss our activity for today.  We of course read Brown Bear, Brown Bear.  Then we sang the letter B song we sing to help us remember the sounds that "B" makes.  Then we went into the kitchen to make Banana Cookies!

Jadon mashing the bananas.  He really liked this.

Jadon licked the masher after we were done.  LOL!

John adds the oatmeal.

They really liked watching the mixer mix things up.

Kale takes his turn mixing the flour, baking soda, and salt.

As you can see by his face Jadon really liked this part.

Kale put the first cookie down.  Then I took over.
Enjoying their cookies right out of the oven!
 Mmmm...that is good Mom!

That was our excitement for the day yesterday.  Until later today.....LOL!!

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your blog. I'm Emily's friend, Ronda in Tuscola. (Molly the dog's mom) Anyhow, I think it's great that you can stay home with Jadon and it looks like you do a wonderful job with those daycare kids! Tot school looks like a lot of fun! :)
