A Barrel Of Monkeys

On Mondays I like to rotate some toys around to change things up.  A few weeks ago I think I mentioned that I purchased some more containers to organize toys.  I also took a lot of toys down to the basement so there were less toys out at once.  I also took them downstairs so I could rotate toys in and out so things stayed fresh.

Every Monday I change the toys that are out on the little table for "table time" activities.  It has been working really well for us.

The new toys are the Leapfrog ABC drum, Little Tikes Shape Toolbox, Cookie Monster Shape game, and a toddler version of connect four, and not pictured-a barrel of monkeys.

Jadon liked the toddler connect four game.  He dumping and cleaning up the chips too.

The boys played with a barrel of monkeys for at least 30 minutes when I got them out.

Look at that concentration!

Here they are playing with the "new" stuff at the table.

Here is Jadon playing with the monkeys later in the day.  He loves them!

Later in the day we watched "Elmo Says Boo" the only video that Jadon will watch to the end.  He loves it!

After dinner tonight we took a walk.  It was a gorgeous evening!  Daddy showed Jadon some of the pretty leaves that are changing colors.

Now I am ready for bed!!!  Until tomorrow...
