Today was a pretty uneventful day. I like those kind of days. This morning a speech therapist came to the house to evaluate Jadon's speech delays. Jadon was his usual stubborn self and only did things when he felt like it. The therapist said that his delay is at 25% but that is an improvement from his initial screening just a month ago so she thinks that we may see a lot more progress in the next few months. I have been doing some research on the internet trying to find some activities that I can do with him to help him with his language.
The rest of the day went pretty normal. I made a recipe called Chicken Spaghetti out of my new Pioneer Woman cookbook for dinner and it was pretty yummy!
After dinner we decided to set up the two tents we got at the garage sales last weekend. This coming weekend we are going to be camping up at Starved Rock with our Boy Scout troop. We decided that as long as the new tents looked okay when we set them up tonight that we would take them with us. Both tents are in great shape. Best $10 I have spent in a long time.
Of course we had to go for a walk while we were out and about.
And I thought I would add this picture so Socks feels like part of the family. I don't want her to feel left out.
Such a pretty kitty. Jadon just loves her. He goes crazy when he sees her. Socks was chasing Jadon while we were walking down the path tonight. Jadon would run ahead then stop and look back. Then the cat would run up on Jadon all of a sudden. It was the cutest thing. They were playing a game together.
Until Tomorrow......
