Setting Posts

Today was another busy day.  After church it was back to work on the back fence.  It was time to set the fence posts in concrete so at some point this week we can put the fence back up.  Everyone pitched in to help.
 Jacob was the cement mixer.

Shelby was unhooking the old fence from the old posts so we could burn them.

What was my job?  Keeping track of Jadon and making sure there was going to be a yummy dinner on the table at the end of this tiring day.

We saw lots of wildlife while we were working today.  Shelby found this caterpillar.  She oohhh and awwweeed over it as long as she could.  We caught on pretty quick....

It was pretty cute though.

Later Diesel was messing with something in the woods.  When I walked over to see what it was I realized that it was a painted turtle.  I rescued him and put him in our pond.  Matt found a toad too.  I picked it up to show Jadon and he squealed in delight.  He thinks it is so funny when they hop!  Don't try to get him to hold one though.  He will run!  LOL!

Later that night everyone was rewarded for their hard work with ribeye steaks, pico de gallo w/chips, and twisty fries.  Yum!  I cooked these steaks!  My first time ever!  They turned out pretty good!

Until tomorrow....
